Precision Frame was founded by Lars Kramer, a veteran Matchmove and Layout Artist with over 24 years of experience tracking cameras, objects, and characters across the global visual effects pipeline.
Lars spent 17 years refining his craft at Weta Digital, alongside key stints at Animal Logic (now Netflix Animation Studios), Cause+FX, Chop Shop Post, and numerous other high-end facilities. Over more than two decades, he has solved every nightmare camera move, broken lens grid, and complex layout challenge the industry could throw at him.
Outside the pipeline, Lars is a proud father of two boys and a girl, and a stepfather to three girls. Balancing the precise demands of a Hollywood-grade tracking department with a household of six kids requires two things: military-grade discipline and a rock-solid sense of humor.
